| After installation of PowerBase, the user recieves the following error when trying to launch Pbase.exe with Cascade installed. "Error occured initializing security. Execution Ending." | |||||
| Causes of Issue | |||||
| This problem is typically caused by two drivers necessary for PowerBase to run, that are not included in the Sybase install included with Cascade. | |||||
| Solution to this Issue | |||||
| Many times problems are caused by drivers. ENOSERV PowerBase installs a shortcut under the Programs > Enoserv > PowerBase entry in the Start Menu labeled 'Check Installed OLE Providers'. Under the 'Provider' tab, make sure 'Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere OLE DB Provider 9.0' is listed. If not you will need to have this driver installed before PowerBase can run. Please contact ENOSERV support for information on obtaining these drivers. | |||||
