Issue Addressed
When attempting to troubleshoot problems in RTS that are related to Test equipment not applying test quantities as expected, ENOSERV works with the customer to create a Log File. This file is very helpful for ENOSERV support in determining and solving the problem.

Solution to this Issue
When you begin your test procedure, I want you to start a log file to capture the communications between RTS and the test equipment. To do this, follow the steps listed below.

1. Open up a Routine to Test as you would typically perform.
2. Select the Menu item "Log File -> Test Set Port -> Clear Test Set Log File"
3. Choose OK to delete the file

(NOTE: This is removing whatever file may currently exist, so that we do not get stagnant data)

4. Select the Menu item "Log File -> Enable Logging"
5. Begin running test procedures as normal, looking for errors to occur.

(NOTE: This process will append commands to/from RTS and the MTS-5000 for each test ran into a single file. Nothing is required on your side.)

6. If after a few runs, you do not have any errors, select the item "Log File -> Test Set Port -> Clear Test Set Log File". This will just delete the file so we do not have to look at a number of proper operating test procedures.

7. If you have an error, you have one option that would be very handy for me, but not required. If you decide to do so, perform this operation.

a. Select the Menu item "Log File -> Test Set Port -> Read Test Set Log File"
b. Scroll to the end of the file
c. Type your initials and a short description of what problem occured.
d. Choose File - Save.
e. Close the window.

8. After a few runs where you have captured problems, I would like this file e-mailed to me so I can analyze it. It is located in your RTS directory (by default C:ENOSERVRTScommout.txt)

9. In at anytime you have to close out the routine, whether normally or by a lockup, when you re-open the Routine, you will have to re-select the Logging option.

a. Select the Menu item "Log File -> Enable Logging"

(NOTE: By default we turn this off as you come into the routine so we do not accidently create a large file without realizing it).
